I was born and raised in Wyoming. I fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a physician in 2006. I have been practicing in Wyoming ever since. I am board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Medicine is truly my calling. I feel so blessed and privileged to be a physician. This relatively new practice model of DPC (direct primary care) is going to allow me to practice medicine the way I have always envisioned. I value my relationship with my patients. You are my family. I chose family medicine because of the magic that can exist in that space. Like my brother, I too was born and raised in Wyoming. After high school I went to Duluth, MN where I played soccer and earned a degree in exercise physiology and athletic training. Right out of school I went to work for a physical therapy clinic in Casper and was given the opportunity to get into the pharmaceutical industry as a product representative. During that time I longed for the connection with the patients I once had and also realized the need for more medical providers in our state. I decided to go back to school at the age of 30 and become a certified physician assistant. By the grace of God I was accepted to the Class of 2012 at Eastern Virginia Medical School. I realized early on in my medical education that I wanted to do family medicine and focused my rotations on this field. I knew when I graduated and passed my exam I would come back Casper.
